Free. No charge. Complimentary. These are words a traveling family loves to hear. Here are five places delivering quality deals.

1. Savings in Seattle at Hotel Monaco. Consider these freebies offered at this Kimpton property: breakfast for children younger than 12, family-friendly movies (think Harry Potter ) for the in-room DVD player, in-room Wi-Fi, a no-cost gift from the lobby toy chest, age-appropriate drinks and snacks in the lobby each evening, pet goldfish in the rooms during your stay, complimentary Guitar Hero and other games, plus a guidebook to the area. Even Fido gets in on the action. Pets stay free and are welcomed with a free doggie bed, water bowl and treats.
