American Express has introduced a new social media savings program through Facebook.com offering significant statement credits when you make purchases at popular retailers like Whole Foods Market, Outback Steakhouse, H&M, Sports Authority, Travelocity and more.
Introduced Tuesday, American Express' new "Link, Like, Love" application on Facebook offers serious couponless savings that show up as credits on your statment when you link you account and choose the merchants offers you like best.
Here's some of the deals:
Carrabba's Italian Grill: Sepnd $50 or more and get $10 back
H&M: Spent $75 or more and get $10 back
Outback Steakhouse: Spend $25 and get $10 back
Travelocity: Spend $350 and save 20 percent off hotels
Dunkin Donuts: Spend $20, get $2 back
Whole Foods: Spend $20, get $5 back
Sports Authority: Spend $50, get $20 back
Others on the list: 20th Century Fox, Lord & Taylor, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Virgin America, Bonefish Grill, Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Celebrity Cruises, Lenovo and 1-800-FLOWERS.
How it works: Visit the Am-Ex Facebook page, link your account to the new program and the app offers a list of savings offers to choose from. Choose as many as you like. After you select your favorite deals, use your card to pay at those retailers (typically within one month) and you'll automatically get a credit on your monthy statement. No coupons are necessary.
